Urgent Appointments
If you need an urgent appointment you will be seen as soon as possible on that day. Please help the receptionists by telling them whether or not your problem is urgent.
The practice nurses all consult by appointment (telephone advice is also available). These nurses carry out such tasks as chronic disease management (e.g. diabetes, asthma), new patient health checks, bloods tests, health promotion clinics, travel advice and immunisation, cervical smears, hormone replacement advice, contraceptive advice, blood pressure checks, treatment for minor injuries and suture removal
